Join the no-code revolution with Skippet
No-code has been the focus of software developers and academics for several years but it recently began the journey from something people have heard about to becoming a tool that is central to everyone’s lives.
In the past, only software engineers have had the capability to harness and adapt computers to solve their creative and practical problems. But now, anyone who can simply describe their problem in everyday language will be able to create a bespoke software solution using Skippet.
We have seen throughout history, as new technologies become more user-friendly they are naturally integrated into mainstream use. The World Wide Web, the tool used by billions to interact with each other on the internet, began its life as a tool developed by scientists at the Hadron Collider in Switzerland in the 1990s to share data with their colleagues about their experiments. As it became more user-friendly, the Web became an integral part of life for millions across the globe and now many do not know a world without it.
Like the development of the Web, we don’t know the exact trajectory of no-code programming. We know it will allow people to manage the immense amounts of data they generate but it will also allow people to create tools that will change the world in ways we can’t imagine.
The ability to create tools with everyday language is transforming how we interact with computers; it is turning buyers of technology into creators, IT passengers into drivers and everyone into software developers.
We, at Skippet, plan to be pioneers of the most advanced wave of no-code products, but the winners will be everyone.
No-code will reduce costs, increase productivity, and help small businesses grow into large ones. Where else it goes is anybody’s guess but we’re incredibly excited to be part of a movement that is changing the world through the democratisation of technology.
In March 2022, Skippet raised $2.4 million in seed funding and we plan to launch towards the end of 2022 - watch this space!
